ODISSEE GPU Hackathon

Bordeaux, 12 to 15 October

The next ODISSEE GPU Hackathon will take place in Bordeaux from 12 to 15 October, bringing together project partners and technical experts to advance the optimisation of radio astronomy and high-energy physics workflows on GPU architectures. Building on previous collaborative work, this new session will focus on hands-on development, performance analysis and software adaptation, with the objective of accelerating data-intensive processing pipelines and exploring more efficient computing approaches for future research infrastructures.

The hackathon will take place at:

Regarding accommodation, the easiest option is probably to look for a hotel close to tram line B, which provides convenient access to the venue.

NVIDIA webinars

To prepare for the hackathon, two webinars will be held to present NVIDIA technologies and tools.

On 14 September, from 10:00 to 11:00 CEST, Andreas Hehn will present the Nsight Compute and Nsight Systems tools.
On 28 September, from 15:30 to 16:30 CEST, Adam Thompson will present DAQUIRI.

These sessions will provide participants with an introduction to the technologies and help them prepare for the hands-on work in Bordeaux.
